Hommus Pita Pizza

Our Hommus Pita Pizza is quick, easy and healthy. Add your favorite flavor of Cedar's hommus and pick your perfect toppings.


  • 4 8-inch whole wheat pitas
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 16-oz container of Cedar’s Roasted Red Pepper Hommus

Optional toppings:

  • Grape tomatoes, halved
  • Feta, crumbled
  • Fresh dill, chopped
  • Fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • Olives, sliced
Serves 4 Total 15-29 Minutes


  1. Heat oven to 350 F. 
  2. Brush both sides of pitas lightly with olive oil. 
  3. Place on large baking sheet. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. 
  4. Bake in oven for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly toasted and beginning to brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  5. Spread Cedar's Roasted Red Pepper Hommus on each pita. Top with other toppings of choice. 
  6. Finish with a light drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of salt and pepper, if desired. 
  7. Repeat with remaining pitas. Serve whole.
