Toum Burgers

A garlic-forward twist on your average burger!
Serves 4 Total 60 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • Cedar's Toum, any flavor
  • 2 onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1-2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teasponn black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Burger buns 
  • 2 cups Arugula

DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat then add in onions and sprinkle with salt. 
  2. Cook onions until translucent, then reduce to medium-low heat and cook until caramelized, about 30 minutes. Stir onions every 5 minutes. 
  3. Form the ground beef into burger patties then season both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat, once hot, place in burgers. Cook for 3-7 minutes per side depending on your preference. 
  5. Spread Cedar's Toum on each bun, add burger patties, then top with caramelized onions and arugula. Enjoy!
