Savory Seasonal Vegetable Galette

No one’s galette this one get cold.
Serves 4-6 Total Over an Hour


  • 1 cup Cedar’s Artichoke Kalamata Hommus
  • 1 pie crust
  • Acorn squash, thinly sliced
  • 2 apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Sage, finely chopped
  • Thyme, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper 


  1. Toss acorn squash and apples with olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar and herbs.
  2. Roll out pie crust onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
  3. Fill center of dough with a layer of Cedar’s Artichoke Kalamata Hommus and top with squash and apple mixture.
  4. Fold edges of dough around filling to make a rustic tart.
  5. Brush the crust with egg and sprinkle with sugar.
  6. Bake at 400 °F for 55 minutes.
