Savory Golden Chicken

Something savory for your sunset soirées.
Serves 2 Total Over an Hour


  • 1 whole chicken
  • ½ cup lemon marinade
  • ½ cup potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Cedar’s Tzatziki, any flavor
  • 1 Lemon
Lemon Marinade
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano, dry
  • ¾ cup lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 thyme sprigs
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons Cedar’s Topped Organic Grecian Golden Hour Hommus
  • 1 tablespoon chicken stock powder


  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients for the Lemon Marinade together and blend to a smooth consistency.
  2. Marinate the chicken with Lemon Marinade overnight.
  3. Place the chicken in a baking tray and cover it with butter paper and aluminum foil, then bake at 350 °F for 30 minutes
  4. Uncover the chicken and finish roasting for an additional 20 minutes for a golden-brown color.
  5. Slice the potatoes into even thin slices and marinate with the Lemon Marinade. Grill to desired crispiness
  6. Serve all together with a side of Cedar’s Tzatziki (any flavor) and a lemon wedge.
