Roasted Red Pepper Mediterranean Flatbread

This flatbread brings Cedar's Reserve Roasted Red Pepper Hommus to life on warm, buttery naan. Perfect for sharing, it's an easy, crowd-pleasing appetizer or snack.

INGREDIENTS

  • 10 oz Cedar’s Reserve Roasted Red Pepper Hommus
  • 2 pieces naan bread
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 red pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Red pepper flakes, for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and stir in garlic. Brush mixture over naan bread.
  3. Spread Cedar's Reserve Roasted Red Pepper Hommus evenly on each slice. Bake for 2 minutes, then remove. 
  4. Top the flatbreads with mozzarella, spinach, and sliced red pepper, then add more mozzarella. 
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and melted. 
  6. Garnish with fresh basil, grated Parmesan, and red pepper flakes to taste.
