Protein-Packed Pumpkin Waffles

Giving you pumpkin to talk about over breakfast.
Serves 2 Total 15-20 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • ½ cup Cedar’s Organic Pumpkin Hommus
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 egg whites
  • ½ cup old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon stevia
  • ½ cup walnuts, crushed
  • ¼ cup Cedar’s Labne
  • Maple syrup

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat a waffle maker to medium heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the protein powder, cinnamon, baking powder, egg whites, oats, almond milk and stevia. Mix well.  
  3. Scoop about ¼ of the batter into the waffle maker and cook until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Repeat until all the batter is gone.
  5. Top each waffle with Cedar’s Labne, walnuts, Cedar’s Organic Pumpkin Hommus and maple syrup.
  6. Grab a fork and enjoy.
