Homemade Pretzel Bites

Knot complicated. Just simple and satisfying.
Serves 4-6 Total 30-60 Minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 10-oz container of Cedar’s Topped Organic Jalapeño Hommus
  • 28-oz store-bought bag of beer dough
  • 1 tablespoon coarse salt
  • ⅓ cup baking soda
  • 1 egg, beaten

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 400 °F.
  2. Bring a large pot of water and baking soda to a boil.
  3. Roll out dough and cut into strips, then cut again into 1-inch bite-sized pieces.
  4. Boil small batches of pretzel bites for 30 seconds and remove with a slotted spoon.
  5. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and brush with a cracked egg.
  6. Sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and serve with Cedar’s Pineapple Jalapeño Hommus.
