Homemade Pretzel Bites

Pulling warm, freshly baked pretzels out of the oven for the big game has never been so easy and deliciously crowd-pleasey.


  • 28 oz store-bought bag of beer dough
  • 1 tbs coarse salt
  • ⅓ cup baking soda
  • 10 oz Cedar’s Topped Organic Jalapeno Hommus
  • 1 egg, beaten
Serves 4-6 Total 30-60 Minutes


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Bring a large pot of water and baking soda to a boil.
  3. Roll out dough and cut into strips, then cut again into one-inch bite-sized pieces.
  4. Boil small batches of pretzel bites for 30 seconds and remove with a slotted spoon.
  5. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and brush with cracked egg.
  6. Sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake for 20 minutes until golden and brown in color.
  7. Remove from oven and serve with 10 oz Cedar’s Topped Organic Jalapeno Hommus.
