Dubai Chocolate Dip

Think of this as your new favorite chocolate dip—creamy, crunchy, pistachio-packed, and inspired by the sweet flavors of Dubai.
Serves 8 Total 15 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 (8 oz) tubs of Cedar's Dark Chocolate Hommus
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups kataifi, cut into small shreds 
  • 3 tablespoons of water
  • 1 cup pistachio cream 
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios, plus extra for garnish. 
  • Sea salt, to taste 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt butter in a medium-sized pan over medium heat. Add kataifi and cook, stirring occasionally until golden brown and crispy, about 6 minutes. Set aside 3 tablespoons for garnish. 
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, stir together pistachio cream and water until smooth. 
  3. Gently fold in kataifi and chopped pistachios until well combined. 
  4. Transfer mixture to a shallow serving bowl and spread in an even layer at the bottom. 
  5. Top mixture with Cedar's Dark Chocolate Hommus. 
  6. Garnish with reserved kataifi, pistachios and sea salt. 
  7. Serve with strawberries, pretzels or your favorite dipper!
