Berry Chocolate Mini Tarts

Rich pastries aren’t known for their nourishing qualities. Except this one. One taste of this rich, creamy fruit tart and you’ll make the Dark Chocolate Hommus swap every time.


1 8-oz container of Cedar’s Dark Chocolate Hommus
4 oz pomegranate seeds
1 quart strawberries
1 pint blueberries
1 store-bought pie crust
Edible flower garnish
Serves 4-6 Total 30-60 Minutes


  1. Roll out store-bought pie crust and use the bottom of a wide glass to cut circles of dough.
  2. Place the dough in mini tart pans and press the dough into place.
  3. Prick the bottom of the dough several times with a fork and follow the baking instructions on the dough packaging.
  4. After baking, remove the shells from the pans and let cool.
  5. Fill shells with Cedar's Dark Chocolate Hommus and top with fresh fruit, pomegranate seeds and flower garnish.
