Beet & Hommus Flatbread

Can’t beet pure and simple.
Serves 1 Total 15-29 Minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 8-oz container of Cedar’s Organic Original Hommus
  • 1 flatbread (vegan)
  • 1 cup kale
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 8-oz package of beets
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 400 F.
  2. Spread Cedar’s Organic Original Hommus on flatbread.
  3. Thinly slice beets and layer on hommus.
  4. Top the beets with torn pieces of raw kale.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle pine nuts.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until kale is crispy.
