In our Community

Knowing better means doing better: for our community, for our children, and for future generations. That’s why Cedar’s is joining the fight to end food insecurity and support local youth enrichment programs in our schools and our local community in Massachusetts. As part of this effort, we continue to donate funding and resources to eliminate the accessibility gap to healthy food options and provide better opportunities for learning, growth, and stability in young students’ lives. We are proud to support Haverhill Boys & Girls Club, Haverhill YMCA, Salem Boys & Girls Club, Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence, and Merrimack Valley YMCA.

L'Arche Boston North

Cedar’s is proud to extend our love for fresh ingredients and culinary craftsmanship to L’Arche Boston North, an inclusive community serving people with developmental disabilities. We’ve partnered with L’Arche to establish and support their Homemade Hummus Culinary Collaborative Program: a vocational training program that gives adults with disabilities the opportunity to learn skills in a professional kitchen.

Infinite Strength

As advocates for promoting positive change in our communities, we’re honored to support Infinite Strength and their mission to provide financial and emotional support to underserved single mother's living with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. All support and contributions to this important cause help these families with monthly expenses of rent, utilities, and food, and offer hope that they are not alone on their journey.

Emmaus House

Cedar’s with Heart is about giving back to our communities, both globally and closer to home. That’s why we’ve partnered with Emmaus House: a non-profit community housing organization located in our hometown of Haverhill, MA. Since 1985, Emmaus has helped 40,000 children and adults out of homelessness and toward self-sufficiency as part of their mission to create a world “Where Everybody Matters.”

Breast Cancer Research Foundation

Cedar’s with Heart means we care about the health and wellbeing of our consumers, our employees, and our community. We are proud to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation by donating a total of $50,000 annually to fund life-saving breast cancer research. We encourage all friends of Cedar’s to support this crucial cause by looking out for a pink ribbon on all Cedar’s Hommus products through the month of October. Join us in fighting the devastating effects of breast cancer and eradicate this unforgiving disease from our world.


Support the Cause

Whole Planet Foundation

Our commitment to do better extends beyond just our local communities. Cedar’s provides support to Whole Planet Foundation to empower the world’s poorest populations with microcredit and alleviate global poverty. To date, Cedar’s has donated over $101,000 to fund over 1,600 microloans to create over 8,900 opportunities for microentrepreneurs and their families to thrive.
