Garlic Hommus Grilled Romaine Hearts

Ahh ... lettuce enjoy. These Garlic Hommus Grilled Romaine Hearts are just what the summer ordered. Light, refreshing and full of flavor.


  • Head of romaine lettuce
  • 1 10-oz container of Cedar’s Topped Organic Garlic Hommus
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parmesan, shaved
  • Pistachios, chopped
  • Figs
Serves 2 Total 15-29 Minutes


  1. Heat grill to medium high.
  2. Slice romaine hearts in half the long way.
  3. Brush with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place on grill for about 4 minutes until slightly charred with grill marks.
  5. Top with Cedar’s Topped Organic Garlic Hommus, fresh figs, Parmesan and pistachios.
