The Mediterranean Diet
The Mediterranean Diet is a lifestyle approach, originating from the Mediterranean, that incorporates healthy eating, and daily physical exercise. After much in depth research in the 1940’s, scholars and health experts found the Mediterranean to be the healthiest region on Earth! A direct correlation was found between health trends and the Mediterranean lifestyle. Adhereing to a Mediterranean Diet has many benefits including:
