Cedar's Tahini Dressing
1/2 cup Cedar's Tahini - 3/4 cup Water (more or less depending on thickness) - 3 Tbsp. Lemon Juice - 1 Clove Crushed Garlic Blend together until smooth
Baked Potato Delite
Simply top your baked potatoes with any hommus flavor and top with your favorite vegetables - SKIP THE SOUR CREAM AND BUTTER . . . REPLACE THEM WITH HOMMUS! LOWFAT & TASTY!
Sundried Tomato Pizza
Take a Wrap or prepared pizza crust and spread sundried tomato & basil hommus evenly covering the top of crust - place fresh sliced tomatoes on top and sprinkle oregano and parmesian cheese. Mozzarella cheese is optional on top! Place in 375? oven for 10 minutes and serve in slices.
Stuffed Taboule Peppers
Wash & cut pepper tops of and clean out the inside, wash out any seeds. Boil 2 cups of white or brown rice till slightly firm and let cool, add to 14 oz Taboule Salad in a bowl and combine till all is mixed. Then just fill the peppers and cover with foil. Bake in 375 oven for 40 minutes. You do not need any oil, the juice from the Taboule should be enough.
Taboule Pizza
Spread Taboule on top of fresh pizza dough, wrap, pita bread or pizza shell. Sprinkle with Grated Romano Cheese and add mozzerella if you want. Sprinkle slightly with a drop of olive oil Bake in 400? oven for 12 minutes.
Slice it up and serve. For a lowfat version - only put grated cheese, leave off the olive oil and top with mushrooms, red peppers or whatever you like on pizza!
TOFU TAHINI SPREAD
1 cake firm tofu (3/4 lb) - 2 tbsp Cedar's Tahini - 1 Tbsp Miso - 1-2 tsp soy sauce - 2 scallions or green onions, minced - 1 carrot, grated - pepper to taste
Blend the tofu with the tahini, miso, and 1 teaspoon of the soy sauce in a blender or food processor. Stir in the scallions and carrots into the tofu mixture. Add pepper and more soy sauce to taste. Makes 2 cups
